The ambitious Canadian foursome behind The Buried Life have opened a Vancouver office to complement their new L.A.-based production company, Four Peaks Media.
Ben Nemtin, Dave Lingwood, and Duncan and Jonnie Penn, who got their start in the industry by creating, starring in and exec producing The Buried Life for MTV in the U.S., launched Four Peaks Media in January of this year.
The Canadian expansion follows a greenlight for Letterkenny, a scripted series created by 19-2 star Jared Keeso, for Bell Media’s CraveTV. The series is being produced by Toronto’s New Metric Media in association with Four Peaks.
Other series confirmed for broadcast on the prodco’s slate include Greatest Party Story Ever, coproduced with L.A.-based Den of Thieves and a one-hour special, Rocky Mountain Reno, coproduced with Tricon Films & Television for HGTV U.S.
Four Peaks Media also used the occasion of its Canadian launch to announce that The Buried Life is in development as a possible feature film for Super Channel in English Canada.
The prodco says it has further projects in development, including a scripted series with Vin Diesel producing, and a tech series currently titled The Woz, in collaboration with Apple co-founder Steve Wozniak and TV presenter Kari Byron.
