Remstar, Copperheart strike TV drama pact with Germany’s Palatin

The collaboration will co-develop and produce TV series, starting with the horror drama Incarnate.

Clark Peterson’s recently launched Remstar Studios in Los Angeles has pacted with Toronto-based Copperheart Entertainment to strike a joint venture with German distributor Palatin Media.

The collaboration will see the parties co-develop and produce TV series for the global market, starting with the horror drama Incarnate.

Hellraiser creator Clive Barker will share executive producer credits with Peterson and Copperheart principal Steven Hoban.

Incarnate, which will include 12 one-hour episodes, is now in pre-production. The series tells the story of three unlikely heroes aiming to stop an evil force amid a battle between science and faith.

Judith Reeves-Stevens and Garfield Reeves-Stevens penned the script for Incarnate.

Palatin will handle international sales of Incarnate and is shopping the drama at MIPTV, ahead of representing world sales on additional series from the transatlantic joint venture.

Montreal-based Remstar last week said it is partnering with Clark Peterson, producer on Kahlil Gibran’s The Prophet for Salma Hayek, to launch a production and financing division.

The Los Angeles-based division, Remstar Studios, will develop, finance and produce film and TV projects.
