Peace Point inks raft of int’l sales

Peace Point Rights has revealed its latest round of sales for its series, including Food Truck Face Off, Bake with Anna Olson and two animal-focused factual series.

The Toronto-based producer and distributor will see, in total, 120 hours of its content sent out into world markets.

Sales include 14 episodes of Food Truck Face Off into South Asia-based LITV and Europe’s Beep Omnimedia for Discovery Communications, for territories including Italy, Monaco and Switzerland.

Bake with Anna Olson (40 x 30 minutes) is headed to Australia’s Foxtel, New Zealand’s Food TV, and Asia’s Scripps Networks Interactive. Scripps also picked up a second Olson series, Fresh with Anna Olson (65 x 30 minutes).

Peace Point inked both domestic and international deals for Colin and Justin’s Cabin Pressure (26 x 30 minutes), with seasons one and two acquired by both New Zealand’s Living Channel and Bell Media’s Canal Vie.

And finally, on the lifestyle side Keasha’s Perfect Dress (TV and web) is headed to Germany’s Channel Sixx via ProSiebenSat.1 Media.

Factual sales include Frontier Vets (13 x 30 minutes) to Spain/Africa’s Natura and Thailand’s True Visions and Chimp Mommy (2 x 30 minutes) to the Philippines’ Solar News Channel.

And on the documentary side, Peace Point has sold one-hour HD special In Space: 50 Years of Space Exploration to Belgium’s VRT; the 90-minute doc Takedown: The DNA of GSP to Sky in New Zealand, Japan’s Wowow and Lighthouse Films for Germany, Austria and Switzerland and six-part miniseries Hard Knocks is headed to Hungary via MTM-SBS ZRT.TV2.
