The Quebecor Fund has handed out $635,000 to five indie producers and distributors for event and film production financing.

The recipients include De Peigne et de Misère, a TV event by indie Productions Micheline Sarrazin where story teller Fred Pellerin will bring his tales to TV for the first time, and the movie Les Trois p’tits cochons II from Christal Films Productions and Bloom Films Productions.

The Quebecor Fund is also backing the movies Nitro Rush, from indie producer Attraction Images and distributor Seville Films,  Bébés Fourneau, from indie producer Les Films du Paria and distributor Filmoption International, and King Dave, from producer Go Films and distributor Seville Films.
