As science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) content continues to proliferate in kids programming, Canada’s Picture Box Distribution has sold science-based adventure series Annedroids to Discovery Kids Asia.

The 26 x half-hour live-action/CGI hybrid is produced by Toronto’s Sinking Ship Entertainment, in association with Canadian broadcaster TVOKids.

Following a young scientific genius and her friends as they perform experiments in her junkyard lab, Annedroids is also one of Amazon Studios’ first original kids shows. In addition to debuting on Amazon Prime earlier this year, the series has aired on pubcasters TVO (Canada), SRC (French-speaking Canada), KiKA (Germany) and SVT (Sweden).
