Tricon sells over 450 hours of lifestyle programs

Tricon Films & Television has sold over 450 hours of lifestyle programming, including series such as Disaster Deck and Donut Showdown, to broadcasters in a number of international territories.

Ion Life US picked up the home design series Colour Confidential (91 x 30 minutes, 1 x 60 minutes),  Divine Design (208 x 30 minutes, 5 x 60 minutes), the cooking show Fearless in the Kitchen (39 x 30 minutes) and the doc series Breeder of the Pack (13 x 30 minutes).

The African Business Channel acquired the second season of A Bryk at a Time (28 x 30 minutes), the fourth season of Decked Out (50 x 30 minutes), the first season of Disaster Decks (23 x 30 minutes) and Now Eat This! (20 x 30 minutes), which was also picked up by PCCW Media Limited Hong Kong. The fourth season of Decked Out and the third season of Disaster Decks were also sold to Canal Vie Quebec.

Strong Technologies Nigeria picked up a number of series from Tricon, including the first and second seasons of Bitchin’ Kitchen (24 x 30 minutes, 1 x 60 minutes), the dating series Love Trap (50 x 30 minutes), Restaurant Takeover (26 x 60 minutes) and the home reno series Save Us From Our House (91 x 30 minutes). The Bitchin’ Kitchen series was also sold to Brand New Media Australia and 6Play France.

Donut Showdown (40 x 30 minutes) was picked up by The Living Channel New Zealand and Zeste Quebec, while The Heat with Mark McEwan and Now Eat This! were sold to RTL Netherlands. The Asian Food Channel also acquired seasons five and six of Restaurant Makeover.
