ION Television is co-commissioning the production of the third season of Saving Hope in partnership with Entertainment One Television, the U.S. channel announced Wednesday.
The deal includes the production of 18 episodes for season three, rights to the series’ previous two seasons, as well as rights to all future seasons. Production on season three of Saving Hope started in June and is set to premiere on CTV on Sept. 22. ION will be the exclusive U.S. broadcaster for the series.
Saving Hope is produced by eOne and ICF Films, in association with CTV and with the participation of the Canadian Film or Video Production Tax Credit and the Canada Media Fund. Saving Hope is executive produced by Illana Frank and David Wellington for ICF Films, John Morayniss for eOne and Lesley Harrison. Morwyn Brebner and Adam Pettle are showrunners and executive producers on the series. Saving Hope was created by Brebner and Malcolm MacRury.
The deal between ION and eOne was brokered by Joey Sabella, on behalf of eOne. eOne handles the worldwide rights to the series across all media.
