Peg + Cat wins 3 Daytime Emmy Awards

9 Story Entertainment’s Peg + Cat won three awards at the 2014 Daytime Emmy Awards held in Los Angeles on Saturday, including the trophy for outstanding pre-school children’s animation program.

Hayley Faith Negrin also won the award for outstanding performer in an animated program for her work in Peg + Cat. Jennifer Oxley won the production design award for her work in the series in the category of outstanding individual achievement in animation.

Peg + Cat debuted in the U.S. on PBS Kids in the fall of 2013, and on Treehouse in Canada this March. The series has also been licensed in a number of territories globally, including Canal+ Family (France and French-speaking territories), ABC TV Australia, Super RTL (Germany and German-speaking territories), New Zealand’s TVNZ, Sweden’s SVT, Israel’s HOP, Mini-Mini in Poland, E-Junior in the UAE, Zee Learn in India, and Disney in Korea.

Peg + Cat was created by Oxley and Billy Aronson. The series is coproduced by 9 Story Entertainment and The Fred Rogers Company for PBS Kids. 9 Story holds the international distribution rights for Peg + Cat.
