Brendon Sawatzky rejoins NSI

The National Screen Institute has named former National Film Board of Canada producer Brendon Sawatzky as its new director of programming.

Sawatzky replaces Melissa Kajpust, who left the NSI to rejoin Allarco Entertainment’s Super Channel as head of creative development.

Sawatzky is also returning to the NSI, having previously worked as a faculty member for drama and aboriginal documentary courses, as a program manager of NSI Features First and as a manager of the NSI Movie Camp.

His producer credits include work on four feature films and several TV projects with his company, Inferno Pictures.
