Borg to lead factual development at Portfolio

Toronto-based indie producer Portfolio Entertainment has hired Amy Manchester Borg to be its director of factual development.

In the role, she will head up the company’s reality, lifestyle, factual business, and source new content for production and distribution.

Before joining Portfolio, Borg worked in development for producers on both sides of the border. Most recently she was a development exec at Canadian producers CMJ Productions and Cream Productions. Prior to that she was the director of development at American shops Pilgrim Films and Asylum Entertainment and worked as a production executive at U.S. cable network Lifetime.

Founded in 1991 by Lisa Olfman and Joy Rosen, Portfolio is a producer and distributor of factual and children’s programming.
