Christa Dickenson has been named the new head of Interactive Ontario in the position of executive director, replacing outgoing president and CEO Donald Henderson.
Prior to joining Interactive Ontario, Dickenson held a number of roles as a marketing executive, including managing director of international client relations and events at Rogers Communications. She has also held positions at CTV and CPAC.
Dickenson’s experience in the telecom sector, combined with her marketing background, made her a good fit for the position, said Interactive Ontario chair Peter Miller.
“A big part of that job is managing the relationships we have with our stakeholders, and she has great interpersonal skills and the credibility to have those…levels of conversations,” Miller told Playback Daily.
Dickenson will take on her new role as executive director of Interactive Ontario on June 2.
