Having chaired the board since 2012, eOne’s Prentiss Fraser handed over the WIFT-T reins to Shaftesbury executive Joanna Webb at the organization’s AGM Monday night.
The Toronto arm of the networking and professional development organization also announced its new board of directors, which includes three new members.
Christina Buchli, partner with Buchli Goldstein, producer/executive producer Alex Lalonde and Rekha Shah, director of sales for CBS Studios International were all elected as new directors at the meeting.
Pat DiVittorio, VP program planning at Bell Media, takes over as vice-chair.
Fiona Lee, director of financing, programming/television at Corus Entertainment will continue to serve as treasurer for WIFT-T. And Samantha McWilliams, senior legal counsel at CBC, will keep her role as secretary.
