Unity Pictures has begun production on the second season of the Hallmark Channel series Cedar Cove in Vancouver.

The series, starring Andie MacDowell, Teryl Rothery, Dylan Neal and Sarah Smyth, airs on the W Network in Canada and is based on a book series of the same name by Debbie Macomber.

The second, 12-episode season of the show is set to premiere in July 2014.

Cedar Cove is executive produced by Ron French, Dan Wigutow and Sue Tenney. Tenney is also the showrunner for Cedar Cove. Stephen Harmaty is co-executive producer on the series, while Connie Dolphin serves as producer.

Cedar Cove is also produced in association with W Network. The series is distributed by Dan Wigutow Productions in the U.S. and BETA Films internationally.
