Sarah Carter (Falling Skies) and country music singer George Canyon are top-lining Cowboy for Christmas, a CTV and Hallmark Channel TV movie now shooting in Hamilton.

The project from Chesler/Perlmutter Productions stars Carter as Holly, a young woman finishing teaching her last astronomy class of the year and heading home to begin preparing for Christmas with her boyfriend Adam.

When Holly returns home, she finds Adam leaving to entertain clients instead of spending Christmas with her.

So she follows him to New York City and is faced with a difficult decision as her boyfriend, a travelling cowboy, and his brother (Canyon), stay with her and her parents.

Cowboy for Christmas will debut in Christmas 2014.
