Ahead of March’s busy Canadian Screen Week, a more intimate evening was hosted in downtown Toronto as Jeff Alpern’s The Alpern Group celebrated its 20th anniversary at L’Ouvrier.

The L.A. and Toronto-based talent agency invited its talent roster, which includes Canadian writing and showrunning talents such as Emily Andras, Adam Barken, Sandra Chwialkowska, Matt MacLennan and Ken Cuperus.

TAG also used the occasion to draw attention to its Toronto office, which is undergoing expansion with the hire of junior agent Samantha London and the promotion of Andrea Glenn to head of the agency’s comedy/kids division.
