Food Network Canada has ordered a fourth, 26-episode season of You Gotta Eat Here!, bringing the network order for the series to 106 episodes.
The half-hour format follows host John Catucci as he searches for Canada’s most over-the-top, must-try food.
“Each of the seasons have been 26-episode orders, so it’s real vote of confidence in the show and in our team,” Rachel Horvath, supervising producer on You Gotta Eat Here! and VP production with Lone Eagle Entertainment Ltd., told Playback.
In the fourth season, Catucci will also visit restaurants in the U.S.
Canadians do a lot of travel into the U.S., noted Horvath, so including restaurants south of the border was a natural continuation of the You Gotta Eat Here! brand. Each episode of the fourth season will likely feature one American restaurant.
The series is produced by Lone Eagle Entertainment Ltd., and executive produced by Michael Geddes and Sheldon Teicher.
Horvath is the supervising producer, and Steven Mitchell is the series producer.
The show will wrap production on its third season at the end of March, and will start shooting the fourth season in mid-May.
