Jordan Gross and Mike MacMillan, producers of the Slamdance competition title I Put a Hit on You, have signed Double Dutch International as their international sales agent for their indie film shot in Toronto.

The Sara Canning and Aaron Ashmore-starring romantic comedy will debut in Park City on  Jan. 18.

Directed by Dane Clark and Linsey Stewart, I Put a Hit on You stars Canning as a wronged lover looking to get revenge after her marriage proposal is awkwardly rejected.

Eventually, Canning’s character must team up with her ex-boyfriend to stop the hitman she accidentally hired to kill him.
