Former Corus Entertainment acquisitions exec Lynn Chadwick is taking the helm at  Sinking Ship Entertainment’s newly launched foreign distribution arm.

Chadwick was named VP of sales and distribution, charged with selling the kids’ cross-platform content producer’s slate of live action, animated and online product to international broadcasters.

“The launch of our own distribution division is a natural next step in Sinking Ship’s growth as we look to 2014 with our biggest production slate to date,” said Blair Powers, partner and executive producer at Sinking Ship in a statement Tuesday.

The indie producer is best known for its Dino Dan, This is Daniel Cook, This is Emily Yeung  and Are we there yet?: World Adventure series.

The latest TV show, Annedroids, debuts in 2014.

Chadwick was most recently VP, network content acquisitions and pay TV at Corus Entertainment.

Before that, she was with Nelvana Enterprises as VP worldwide sales and distribution, and held earlier posts at Greenlight International and Salter Street Films International.
