MTV Canada has started airing the docu-soap series Grand Benders from MDF Productions, via a distribution deal with Buzz Taxi.

The specialty acquired 20 episodes of the docusoap about Cocos, a family-run hotel, nightclub and restaurant in Grand Bend, Ontario that originally aired on the digital channel bpm:tv.

The distribution deal was hammered out by Buzz Taxi co-president Jenna Bourdeau, who is selling the series worldwide.

MDF Productions last month completed production on the third season of Grand Benders.

The series receives CMF funding, tax credits and regional bonuses.
