Selling New York prodco adds development exec

Toronto-headquartered JV Productions has named Riley Robbins as its VP of U.S. development.

Robbins will head up the U.S. arm of the firm’s development division, and will be based out of the L.A. office in Beverly Hills.

JV Productions – whose slate includes HGTV U.S.’s Selling New York; Selling L.A.; and Live Here, Buy This – also has offices in New York.

Robbins had previously been the VP of development for Krasnow Productions and director of development at FremantleMedia North America. He has overseen or developed programs for networks including HGTV, MTV, PBS, A&E, GSN and TBS.

“As part of JV’s expansion, we’re committed to adding team members with our passion for finding great characters and great stories,” said JV Productions exec VP Courtney Campbell. “Riley has both – as well as an infectious enthusiasm for our industry. With his creative contributions across the cable landscape, we’re thrilled to have him join us.”
