Rogers Media, the NHL and HBO sports are set to jointly produce 24/7 Red Wings/Maple Leafs: Road to the NHL Winter Classic, with four major Canadian brands on board to sponsor the series.
Molson Canadian, Tim Hortons, Recharge with Milk and Ford F-150 signed sponsorship agreements that will see their brands marketed on Rogers Media’s TV, radio, digital, mobile and print platforms.
The sponsorship deals come as Sportsnet gets set to air the four-part documentary series, 24/7 Red Wings/Maple Leafs: Road to the NHL Winter Classic, on Dec. 15, 2014.
That’s a day after HBO debuts the latest installment of its 24/7 franchise with the NHL, which Rogers Media has acquired for the Canadian market.
