eOne signs first look deal with Call Me Fitz partner

After the success of Call Me Fitz, Entertainment One has inked an exclusive three-year first look deal with Amaze Film + Television.

The agreement hands the two producers a chance to collaborate on film and TV projects, with eOne to handle worldwide distribution rights.

eOne and Teza Lawrence and Michael Souther’s production company jointly produce Call Me Fitz for The Movie Network and Movie Central, and DirecTV in the U.S.

The partners will develop and produce original projects that range from TV to films that are related to the original TV projects produced with Amaze.

“This deal represents eOne’s commitment to working with top creatives to secure premium content for our pipeline in the years ahead,” said Margaret O’Brien, president, Canada and COO at eOne, in a statement Thursday.
