Cameras roll Thursday on upcoming feature film Blur, from Ontario-based Black Cat Entertainment.

Blur is the feature film debut of commercial and music video director George D’Amato, who co-wrote the script with Todd Thomas Dark.

The film, in which a corporate exec’s marriage is threatened when her darkest secret is revealed during a cross-country road trip with her husband, is produced by Bruno Marino (Tapped), with Sopranos star Steve Schirripa exec producing.

Marino tells Playback that the plan for the approximately $500,000 film is to launch it on the festival circuit, and there is no distributor on board at present.

Blur is shooting for six weeks in Toronto and Las Vegas.
