Bristow Global Media has signed a format deal for the North American rights to Letters to the President.
Julie Bristow’s newly launched production outfit has also inked a deal with Small World IFT for the Canadian format rights to the factual series Miss Country Girl from Romania’s Media Factory.
Letters to The President, jointly developed with the American White House, has real letters to the U.S. president answered as cameras follow average American families and communities in need.
Miss Country Girl features celebrities transforming young women from the countryside into “superstars of empowerment.”
“Miss Country Girl is an extraordinary series that pushes social norms and sparks national conversation around true beauty,” said Julie Bristow, president and CEO of Bristow Global Media, in a statement Monday.
Bristow earlier this month acquired the Canadian format rights to the Hidden Talent factual series.
Small World IFT distributes both Letters to the President and Miss Country Girl internationally.
