Anchor Bay Canada takes three genre titles from Foresight Features

Anchor Bay Canada has picked up a trio of genre titles from Canadian horror factory Foresight Features that were penned by Pontypool Changes Everything‘s Tony Burgess.

Anchor Bay will release all three titles – Septic Man, Ejecta and Hellmouth – in the Canadian home entertainment market.

The latest film sales by Foresight follow the indie producer, led by principals Jesse T. Cook, John Geddes and Matt Wiele, making a name as the creators of the horror movies Exit Humanity and Monster Brawl, about a wrestling match between classic movie monsters.

“We have been big supporters of the Foresight team since their first film, Scarce in 2008, and it was great to see Monster Brawl and Exit Humanity establish them as filmmakers to be reckoned with,” Rob Herholz, general manager of Anchor Bay Entertainment Canada, said in a statement Thursday.

The acquisitions of films from the pen of horror scribe Tony Burgess include Jesse T. Cook’s Septic Man, and Ejecta, co-directed by Chad Archibald and Foresight producer Matt Wiele.

Anchor Bay also picked up Hellmouth, an ode to classic horror and fantasy by John Geddes.
