The U.S. arts network Ovation has taken all seven seasons of Murdoch Mysteries from Shaftesbury and ITV Studios Global Entertainment.

Ovation as an arts network is cleverly titling the Canadian drama The Artful Detective as it starts airing the first season.

The U.S. Ovation audience will join around 100 territories worldwide that have already see the period drama that began on City before shifting to the CBC.

The seventh season of the Yannick Bisson-starrer is currently shooting in Toronto.
