Indiecan takes Canadian rights to Mourning Has Broken

Avi Federgreen’s Indiecan
Entertainment
 has
picked up the Canadian distribution rights
 to
Mourning Has Broken, from directors Brett and Jason Butler.

The acquisition follows the low-budget Canadian indie debuting at the
 Calgary
International
Film
Festival.

Mourning
 Has
 Broken
portrays
 a
 husband, played by Robert Nolan,
reacting to the unexpected death of
 his
 wife
 by bottling
 up
 his
 grief
 and
 takes
 an
 emotional
 battle-axe
 to
 everything

 that
 angers
 him.

Mourning
 Has
 Broken
was
created  as
part
of
 Ingrid Veninger’s 1K
 Challenge, which
produced
five
Canadian
features
 for
 just
$1,000  per
film.

Indiecan plans a winter 2013 theatrical release for Mourning Has Broken.
