Canadian TV channel Oasis HD is to coproduce the upcoming wildlife series Bahama Blues with Parallax Film Productions.

And London-based distributor TVF International is to shop the six one-hour TV series from Parallax producers Ian Herring and Maija Leivo internationally.

The coproduction deal with Oasis HD, a division of Blue Ant Media, will see the underwater series go into production in early 2014.

Bahama Blues will explore the islands of the Bahamas for wildlife captured by underwater cinematographer Peter Zuccarini, whose credits include all four of the Pirates of the Caribbean movies and Life of Pi.

Zuccarini will work with fellow cameraman Sean F. White.
