Entertainment One Films International has acquired the world sales rights to Watermark, the feature documentary from Jennifer Baichwal and Edward Burtynsky set to bow at TIFF ahead of a fall release in Canada by Mongrel Media.

Entertainment One has taken the worldwide rights to the Sixth Wave Productions doc, which brings together diverse stories from around the globe about humanity’s relationship with water.

The film with 20 stories from 10 countries is produced by Nicholas de Pencier.

Daniel Iron is executive producing.

Watermark will screen on the first weekend at the Toronto International Film Festival as part of its Special Presentation sidebar.
