Entertainment One has re-upped a long-term supply deal with CBS Films to 2015.
The partnership, originally with Alliance Films before that distribution outfit was taken over by eOne, sees the CBS Films’ slate released across all media in Canada.
“CBS Films has been a key partner in filling our release pipeline in Canada and we are pleased to continue on with this productive relationship,” said Noah Segal, co-president of eOne Films Canada, in a statement Thursday.
The first film to be released under the new deal is the comedy Last Vegas (pictured), starring Robert De Niro, Morgan Freeman and Michael Douglas.
Recent CBS Films titles released by eOne in Canada include the Dwayne Johnson action vehicle Faster, The Back-Up Plan, and the fantasy drama Beastley.
