Cameras roll on Fragile Minds

Production is underway in Toronto on Fragile Minds, director Cody Campanale’s debut feature-length film.

The dark “revenge drama” tells the story of a self-destructive womanizer who falls for a woman set on making him suffer for what he did to her sister. His friend, in turn, devises his own revenge plot to get back at the woman.

Fragile Minds, produced by Jeff Hanes, stars a cast of newcomers including Alino Giraldi, Shannon Coulter, Edward Charette and Andrew Di Rosa.

“Taking some inspiration from Larry Clark’s Kids, we decided to cast raw, emerging and authentic talent,” said Hanes and Campanale in a statement.

Jason Tan is on board as coproducer and cinematographer.

Fragile Minds is produced by Toronto-based Lesser Men Productions and Paint Chip Entertainment, with assistance from Production Services, Willowood Films, Hopping Reindeer Entertainment and EQtion Audio.

The film is shooting in and around Toronto to Aug. 29.
