Odyssey in production on MOW with Valerie Harper, Lauren Holly

Principal photography is underway in Fort Langley, B.C. on The Town that Came A-Courtin’, the latest project from Vancouver’s Odyssey Media.

The film, starring Valerie Harper, Lauren Holly, Cameron Bancroft and Lucie Guest, is an adaptation of the novel by Ronda Rich.

David Winning is directing the adapted script, written by Sheryl J. Anderson. The film is produced by Odyssey’s Kirk Shaw, and exec produced by Eric Andrews, Rich Middlemas, Marybeth Sprows and Stan Spry. Odyssey is producing with U.S.-based Paulist Productions and The Cartel.

The Town that Came A-Courtin’ is slated to premiere in January 2014 on the U.S. cable channel UP Network, which broadcasts family-friendly original and acquired movies, series, stage plays and music specials.
