DHX Media has secured a host of new content deals across multiple platforms in Canada.
The company has renewed its deal with Teletoon Canada to broadcast the animated series George of the Jungle and has added seasons one to three of the boys-skewing animated series Johnny Test (pictured).
French-language TFO has renewed its deal for DHX’s preschool series Caillou, signing on to broadcast seasons one through four as well as exclusive rights for season five.
On the digital front, Telus Communications has secured SVOD rights to a number of DHX Media properties including Angela Anaconda, Bo on the Go and Adventures of Paddington Bear for French-speaking Canada. As well, Knowledge West has picked up a package of DHX Media’s kids’ titles.
Rogers Media has picked up linear rights to air DHX Media properties on City Saskatchewan for its daytime, pre-school, educational programming block, including Franny’s Feet (season one and two), Zoboomafoo (season two), Busy World of Richard Scarry (seasons one through five), and Adventures of Paddington Bear (seasons one through three).
