Flashpoint‘s Enrico Colantoni has been cast as a lead in the Shaw Media medical drama Remedy.

Colantoni will portray Dr. Allan Conner, an eccentric father and doctor at the fictional Broadview Hospital.

The drama comes from Indian Grove Productions, and starts shooting in Toronto on Sept. 30.

“Remedy is a complex and funny world with rich characters and relationships,” said Colantoni in a statement Tuesday.

Remedy was created and is being show run by Greg Spottiswood (King), who shares an executive producer credit with Bernie Zukerman.
