Nelvana Enterprises names co-heads to lead global business

On the heels of Canada’s Corus Entertainment revealing management changes that put Colin Bohm at the helm of the Corus Kids vertical, Nelvana Enterprises has now named two co-heads who will jointly manage the company’s global distribution and licensing portfolio.

Antoine Erligmann has been appointed co-head, Nelvana Enterprises, where he will manage the global distribution and licensing of the Nelvana portfolio of brands in Europe, the Middle East and Africa.

As fellow co-head of Nelvana Enterprises, Andrew Kerr will manage the global distribution and licensing of the Nelvana portfolio of brands in the Americas and Australasia.

Jerry Diaz, meanwhile, will continue in his role as VP of worldwide sales and distribution, responsible for placing Nelvana’s new and library brands with global broadcasters and digital partners. He will report to Erligmann and Kerr.

On the production front, Irene Weibel continues in her role as VP and head of Nelvana Studio, with ongoing responsibility for developing and producing new content for Corus Kids’ television assets, global licensing and broadcast partners.

Last week’s Corus-wide management shakeup is designed to align leadership around the company’s business units.  As newly appointed VP of Television and head of Corus Kids, Bohm is now responsible for overseeing the company’s kids-targeted specialty television services as well as Nelvana Studio and Nelvana Enterprises, which distributes such boy-skewing anime series as Beyblade: Metal Fury and Bakugan.
