Aliy Brown has been appointed as director of broadcast and digital sales at Toronto-based distributor Kaleidoscope Entertainment, company president Randy Zalken said Monday.

Brown joined Kaleidoscope five years ago, and moved up the ranks from sales admin and production assistant to marketing and communications manager.

She recently spearheaded its worldwide digital distribution initiative as the company looks to expand its multiplatform footprint.

Kaleidoscope in 2006 expanded its operations to include international distribution through the acquisition of Toronto-based The Fremantle Corporation.
