Netflix renews Toronto-shot series Hemlock Grove

Netflix has renewed Hemlock Grove, which shoots in Toronto, for a second season.

The Netflix series will shoot another ten episodes, to debut next year.

The first season had 13 episodes.

Toronto-based Technicolor, which provided full audio and picture post for the first season, will again provide the services for the second season.

Eli Roth’s horror series is produced by Gaumont International Television, which also along with Sony Pictures Television Networks is behind Hannibal, another Toronto-shot series that recently got its own second season order.

Hannibal joins a slew of NBCUniversal series shooting in Toronto, including Syfy’s Warehouse 13 and USA Network’s Suits and Covert Affairs.
