The Canadian cop drama Cracked is eyeing extensive European sales.
After the White Pine Pictures series was sold to French broadcaster Groupe Canal+ in France, Germany’s BetaFilm is in final negotiations on a German pay TV deal, and has an offer on the table in Italy, executive producer Peter Raymont told Playback.
The international distributor also has a deal in Turkey and Denmark about to be unveiled and has a Latin American deal in advanced negotiations.
Cracked, which is now shooting its second season in Toronto through September, was earlier sold to ReelzChannel in the U.S. market.
The Canadian drama portrays a Special Psych Crimes Unit solving psychologically complex crimes.
Cracked was created by writer Tracey Forbes and Calum de Hartog.
