Raven Banner Entertainment, Anchor Bay Entertainment Canada and Anchor Bay Entertainment U.K. are pacting to produce the Nazi creature feature Buzzkill, to be shot in Canada by director Paul Jones.

The project marks the directorial debut of FX specialist Jones who runs a special effects company at work on the Resident Evil, Silent Hill and Mortal Instruments movie franchises shot in Toronto.

Buzzkill will portray a small northern Canadian town with a hospital built on a one-time Nazi P.O.W. camp during World War II.

The structure prepped for demolition unleashes long-buried demons.

“We are thrilled to be expanding our relationship with Anchor Bay, from Canadian distribution of acquired titles to our own in-house productions”, said James Fler, managing partner of Raven Banner, in a statement.
