9 Story Entertainment EVP business development Natalie Osborne has been as appointed board chair of The Foundation for Women in Film and Television-Toronto.
Osborne will take over for the foundation’s outgoing chair Gaye McDonald, CBC Revenue Group director of marketing, effective immediately.
Osborne joined 9 Story Entertainment in 2006 to launch 9 Story Enterprises. She oversees the company’s worldwide sales, consumer products and strategic partnerships. She is also exec producer of 9 Story’s Harriet the Spy: Blog Wars and animated preschool series Wibbly Pig.
The foundation raises funds to support WIFT-T’s professional development programs and bursaries. It provided eight bursaries in 2012 through donations by individuals and businesses.
The foundation’s 2013-2014 board also includes Fiona Lee, CA, director of finance, programming at Corus Entertainment, eOne Television International SVP worldwide sales and acquisitions Prentiss Fraser, eOne Films Canada VP marketing and promotions Tamara Shannon and Mojojo Media founder and managing director Joanna Webb.
