TAJJ Media has picked up the worldwide distribution rights to the Canadian theatrical comedy Dr. Cabbie from producing partners FirstTake Entertainment and Caramel Films.

Jeff Sackman’s sales outfit becomes the international agent for the feature about an unemployed doctor-turned-cab driver that stars Vinay Virmani.

With his extensive network of global distributors and solid track record in the industry, we are sure Jeff Sackman and TAJJ Media will bring their expertise to representing Dr. Cabbie internationally,” Andre Rouleau and Pauline Dhillon, which are producing Dr. Cabbie as it shoots in Toronto, said in a statement Monday.

The indie is directed by Jean-Francois Pouliot (La Grande Seduction), and also stars Adrianne Palicki, Kunal Nayyar, Rizwan Manji and Chris Diamantopoulos.
