Blue Ant Media specialty channel Travel + Escape has partnered with Les Stroud Productions on a new adventure series, Survivorman 10 Days.

The eight-episode series pushes survival expert Les Stroud’s Survivorman series further, putting him in harsh, remote locations to survive with little food, no water or gear, and no safety or camera crew for 10 consecutive days.

Stroud will use and carry about 50 pounds of camera gear to film everything himself.

Some of the planned locations include the firelands of Argentina and jungles of Panama.

“[Stroud’s] rugged determination, ability to harness resources and willingness to do anything to survive will fascinate and entertain our Travel + Escape audiences,” said Blue Ant Media SVP original content Marcia Martin in a statement.

Survivorman 10 Days is produced by Les Stroud Productions. Stroud is creator and exec producer, with Barry Farrell also exec producing. Wendy Turner is VP production.
