The spotlight on CBS at the Banff World Media Festival got larger Monday with news that Let’s Make a Deal host Wayne Brady and Entertainment Tonight co-anchor Rob Marciano will host the award ceremonies at the upcoming event.

Brady will host The Rockie Awards and Marciano will stickhandle the Rockies industry awards luncheon.

CBS, which will be honoured as the company of distinction in Banff, is behind both Let’s Make A Deal and Entertainment Tonight.

“Wayne Brady and Rob Marciano will bring an exciting edge to the already great line-up we have in store for Banff this year,” said Banff executive director Ferne Cohen in a statement.

The Banff World Media Festival is set to run from June 9 to 12, 2013.
