Just weeks before the April 29 premiere of Prospect Park’s All My Children (pictured, top) and One Life to Live (below) revivals on The Online Network, via Hulu, Rogers Media has unveiled a deal with the U.S. producer for the new serial soaps to air on FX Canada.
FX Canada will broadcast new 30-minute episodes of All My Children and One Life to Live, which previously aired as ABC soaps on CTV Two, weekdays, also from April 29.
The deal with Prospect Park makes FX Canada the only North American broadcaster of the new series.
“As the only television channel in North America broadcasting these new series, FX Canada continues its commitment to deliver exclusive, premium content to its viewers,” Scott Moore, president of broadcast at Rogers Media, said in a statement Monday.
The Canadian specialty aims for the revived serials to appeal to a female-skewing audience that tunes into FX Canada’s American Horror Story drama.
Rogers Media has no plans yet to stream the All My Children and One Life to Live revivals online or on-demand.
