Montreal’s Urbanimmersive Technologies has signed a channel partner agreement with Wilby.tv, a Quebec-based kid-friendly social-media website that includes entertainment and educational content.
The licensing pact allows Wilby.tv to use Urbanimmersive’s AVU3D software to create educational games in “real” or 3D environments, according to a press release.
“The AVU3Dtechnology allows us to offer rich and interactive 3D games environments, and it allows our members to learn and discover the most beautiful places in the world through 3D virtual visits,” said David Banford, the president of Wilby.tv, in the release.
Urbanimmersive designs and builds visual digital content for the real estate market.
Wilby.tv (pictured) was founded in 2010 by three Quebec parents and today has active members in 75 different countries.
