The Carlu last Saturday night played host to the 2013 ACTRA Awards, where industry members gathered to honour outstanding male and female performances.

Tatiana Maslany, Shawn Doyle and Shannon Kook-Chun were named as award winners, and screen and stage vet Shirley Douglas received ACTRA Toronto’s 2013 Award of Excellence in recognition of her accomplished stage and TV career, and a lifetime of industry advocacy and civil rights activism.
