Toronto-based writing and directing duo Dane Clark and Linsey Stewart (pictured) have secured representation with CAA in Los Angeles.

“We’re pretty excited to have acquired American representation,” Clark tells Playback. He continues to be repped domestically by Characters Talent Agency while Stewart is repped here by Harrison Artist Management.

The filmmakers are currently editing their first feature-length project, I Put A Hit On You, which should be completed by late spring. “Then we’ll send it out to festivals and hope for the best,” Clark added.

In 2012 their short film, the romantic comedy Long Branch, netted a series of awards and accolades, including a mention in Viewfinder’s top short films, commercials or music videos of the year.
