Indie Hlibka Entertainment has picked up the Canadian rights to director Joe Klymkiw’s Hip Hop Eh documentary.

The Canadian distributor will also represent international sales as part of an agreement with Joi Productions for Klymkiw’s feature length take on the life and characters of Canadian rapping culture.

The film features interviews with Canadian rapping stars, including Maestro Fresh Wes, Classified, Buck 65, Kardinal Offishall, Dj Kemo, Dream Warriors and Big C.

Hlibka Entertainment plans a March 15, 2013 theatrical release, and digital release for April.
