Kids’ CBC is letting their young viewers to take their favourite shows everywhere they go with the release of its new TV for Me app.
The free iPad app aimed at pre-schoolers lets kids stream episodes of Kids’ CBC shows using a simple, intuitive interface. It is compatible with both 3G and Wi-Fi connectivity.
“We are excited to expand the reach of our Kids’ CBC programming to ensure that preschoolers can access their favourite shows at any time, “said Sally Catto, CBC executive director of commissioned and scripted programming, in a statement.
The content, available only in Canada, currently includes episodes of Fuzzy Tales, Artzooka!, Monster Math Squad, Pirates: Adventures in Art, Dirtgirlworld, Polo, The Save-Ums! and The Doodlebops.
However, new episodes and new shows will be added regularly, according to a release from the CBC.
