The Fremantle Corporation brings World of Wonders to the world

The Toronto-based company The Fremantle Corporation has inked a slew of deals with networks all over Asia, Europe and Africa.

The product, ranging from movies and docs to lifestyle, kids and classic family adventure series, has been licensed to TVB Hong Kong; Sony/AXN for Eastern Europe, Sony UK and Sony Max Africa; CBC Barbados; MBC South Korea; Ananay Israel; L/R TV Lithuania, as well as major Canadian broadcasters through its domestic affiliate.

Among the licensed titles are the Gemini award-winning series A World of Wonders (104 x 11 mins), produced by Genuine Pictures and Genuine World Productions Inc., and Women War and Peace (4 x 60 min), a five-part special series narrated by Matt Damon, Tilda Swinton, Alfre Woodard and Geena Davis.

Other licensed series include Weird and Wonderful Hotels (13 x 30 min), Conan (23 x 60 min), and Tarzan the Epic Adventures (22 x 60 min).
